By following our responsible visitor charter you as our guest can also consider how you can minimize the environmental impact of your stay in our hotel and in London.

Reduce, reuse and recycle

Assist us by avoiding overly packaged goods or say no to the extra carrier bag. Try and recycle any waste you have.

Walk, cycle or use public transport

Give cars and cabs a rest – avoid cars, if only for the day. Walking and cycling are great ways to see the area without increasing pollution or traffic. Many of London’s attractions are within walking distance of the hotel – just ask Concierge for directions and bike hire facilities For public transport, please visit www.traveline.org.uk.

Stay local, eat local, buy local, see local

Purchasing local goods and services supports the local economy. Support local producers and services, experience the true flavour of what London and the UK has to offer. There are lots of cultural sights that can make your visit a fantastic one, whilst ensuring you have a positive impact on London.

Save Energy

Reduce energy by switching off lights when you leave your room and turning the heating down in the winter. The Energy Saving Trust provides information on what you can do at home www.energysavingtrust.org.uk

Be water wise

Make sure taps are turned off when you have finished using them. Do not leave taps running unnecessarily. Have showers not baths and adhere to other water saving initiatives. If you do not need fresh towels, then please leave them hanging on the towel rail. We will only launder towels that are left on the floor or in the bath/ shower.
