Do you want to introduce more technology to your events? Then head down to Tech Fest 2015 at the Excel on 19 June. This day-long festival is jam-packed with events aimed at exploring various aspects of the tech world. The brainchild of Gallus Events, Tech Fest will be centred on content, with lots of speaker offering tech tips and advice. According to the Tech Fest website, they are bringing ‘all the good looking technology’ to the audience.

Events, events and more events
With events running from morning until evening, a day out at Tech Fest is bound to be a busy one. Speakers in the morning include Beth Sheppard from Green Power Conferences, who will be discussing the move to green technology in the world of events. Just before lunchtime, the Technology in the Wider World of Communications event will get underway, with several notable speakers examining the relationship between tech and communications.
Later in the day, you will be able to listen to the likes of Ricardo Molina from Brightbull presenting his piece on content marketing strategy. Molina will discuss the difficulties brands face when trying to navigate the tricky waters of content marketing, as well as offering tips and advice. The importance of image will be addressed in A Picture Sells A Thousand Words with Paul Clarke, who won the Event Photographer of the Year prize in 2014. Clarke will be looking at the benefits of great photography for events.
Don’t miss out on some of the quirkier happenings at Tech Fest 2015. The Startup Bazaar will give fledgling businesses the chance to attract industry attention, and there are even prizes for the best of the bunch. There will also be ‘speed dating’ style pitches and the opportunity for ‘soul mate time’ if you find a business that takes your fancy.
How to get there
Strand Palace Hotel is just a short journey away from Tech Fest 2015. There are several public transport options for getting to the festival from our property. Use the Underground to reach Canning Town, then ride the Docklands Light Railway to the nearby Custom House. The journey should take less than 40 minutes door-to-door. After Tech Fest, return to our hotel in central London and unwind at one of the nearby bars and restaurants.
