Built in 1909, the Strand Palace Hotel was converted in 1928 as an Art Deco showpiece and has now been carefully modernised in order to allow the guests to experience the latest standards of comfort.
The property has unveiled a stylish multi million pound makeover of public areas, 785 Club bedrooms and the Strand Conference & Events facilities.
Situated in the heart of the West End, the Strand Palace Hotel is located in close proximity to Covent Garden, Charing Cross and a short stroll from Waterloo station. The property is also easily accessible from the City’s commercial and financial district.
Surrounded by some of London’s finest architectural and cultural landmarks, the hotel is an impressive location for important meetings and events.
The Strand Conference & Events provides a multipurpose facility comprising nine flexible event suites for top-level conferences or straightforward private meetings.
The entire self-contained space has air-conditioning, Wi-Fi throughout with the latest presentation technology built into all meeting rooms. This large flexible area can be arranged to suit a variety of events and host up to 250 delegates.
The Exeter suite is the largest meeting room in the Strand Conference and Events area. The suite can be used as a boardroom for up to 60 delegates, and at its maximum capacity, it can host up to 250-theatre style.
The facility also has the flexibility to be split into two separate meeting rooms, with capacity of 65 classroom style.
A further 7 rooms are located in close proximity for breakouts or separate meetings with capacities from 25 to 80 theatre style.
The conference facilities are centred off a reception area, ideal for pre-event networking or as a catering breakout facility.
Our experienced event planners and catering experts are available to advise and detail arrangements to your specification on the day of your event.
Each meeting room is equipped with built in audio visual technology – LCD projectors, screens and sound systems, to enable the perfect presentation. All rooms have access to complimentary Wi-Fi, we also have up to 50mb wired broadband available.
