Keeping you safe during your stay

At Strand Palace, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our guests, staff and visitors is an integral part of our operations.

Our security team abides by a robust set of protocols to ensure guests can enjoy being in the heart of London in a safe environment and travel destination. Our hotel recently achieved the Global Secure Accreditation as our security procedures throughout the hotel were thoroughly inspected. The full report is available to read here.

Some of our security features include (but are not limited to) a 24-hour manned security team and CCTV surveillance throughout public areas. Entrance to the hotel is restricted to guests after midnight, and all rooms have deadlocks, self-closing mechanisms, peepholes and safes.

Our team is equipped with a variety of emergency response plans in place, a working partnership with the local police service to help keep you safe in the event of external incidents.

For female guests travelling alone, highlighted in our single traveller policy we do not allocate rooms with inter-connecting doors, or rooms on the first floor, at the ends of corridors or near fire exits.
